Jakarta, April 24, 2025 – At Indonesia’s largest architecture and construction exhibition, Megabuild Indonesia 2025, YPA Architecture Studio proudly participates as part of the “Arsitek Muda untuk Semua” (Young Architects for All) initiative by Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI) Jakarta. The second edition of this event, taking place from April 24-27, 2025, at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JCC), provides an important platform for introducing architectural works that advocate for inclusivity and social sustainability.
The event was officially opened by Wakil Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, Irene Umar.
One of the works presented by YPA in this exhibition is the design of Pesantren Tahfiz Difabel K.H. Lutfi Fathullah, located in Lebak Bulus, Jakarta Selatan. This project is an initiative from BAZNAS (BAZIS) DKI Jakarta, aiming to empower the disabled community through faith-based education in a pesantren setting.

Inclusive Design for Value-Based Education
This work was designed by the young architect team from YPA: Firdaus Silawane, Yudha Prasetyo, Titik Efianti, Zaki Adighuna, Ricky Geri, and Lufi Luqman. The approach focuses on the principle of universal accessibility, considering the needs of disabled users in all aspects of the building’s function. From open, mobility-friendly layouts to optimal natural lighting and safe, durable materials, every aspect has been designed with care.
With the pesantren concept serving as a hub for spiritual, educational, and social empowerment activities, the design also reflects a balance between religious functions and warm, interactive spaces. This project embodies YPA Architecture Studio’s mission to create architecture that is rooted in social context, inclusive, and impactful for society.

Megabuild 2025 : A Platform for Collaboration and Innovation
Megabuild Indonesia 2025 becomes a strategic space for YPA Architecture Studio to showcase its vision and commitment to producing architecture that is socially useful and environmentally sustainable. By participating in the “Arsitek Muda untuk Semua” category, YPA demonstrates that young Indonesian architects are increasingly adept at addressing urban space challenges and meeting the needs of vulnerable groups.
In addition to showcasing architectural works, this participation also serves as a venue for idea exchange, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and dialogue between young architects, professionals, stakeholders, and the broader public.
YPA Commitment to Creating Architecture for All
YPA Architecture Studio believes that architecture is not just about aesthetics, but about how spaces can have a real impact on people’s lives. The design of Pesantren Tahfiz Difabel stands as proof that an inclusive and collaborative approach can create a safe, humane, and empowering learning environment for everyone, without exception.
By continuing to prioritize innovation, social sensitivity, and the courage to experiment, YPA will continue to advance as part of Indonesia’s more inclusive, progressive, and far-reaching architecture.
