Pela Mampang 2023 is a neighborhood transformation initiative designed by YPA Architecture Studio in collaboration with BAZNAS. The project aims to improve the quality of housing and community life in densely populated areas with a more sustainable, inclusive and environmentally friendly architectural approach.
Through innovative design concepts, the project presents efficient compact housing, better public spaces, and integration of green elements in the area. The residences are designed with natural lighting, cross ventilation, and the use of green facades and vertical gardens to improve thermal comfort. In addition, the project also prioritizes eco-friendly drainage systems to reduce the risk of flooding, as well as wider pedestrian corridors to enhance social interaction between residents.
Not only focusing on the physical aspects, the project also has a great social impact. By improving the quality of the environment, residents get healthier housing, better economic opportunities, and communal spaces that can be used for various social and cultural activities. The sustainability-based approach in this project not only creates a greener environment, but also builds a better and more prosperous community life.
As a project that combines architecture and social initiatives, Pela Mampang 2023 is proof that design can act as a transformation tool that has a direct impact on the quality of life of the community.
